We review your images & provide a recommendation according to your brief along with an individual quotation for the artwork & garment.

3. BESPOKE ARTWORK & CONCEPT BOARD
We develop your personalised artwork & create a concept board showing garment in your choice of colour along with placement & details.

4, APPROVAL & MAKING

Once approved, we create production-ready artwork and begin making your bespoke piece.

Finished with a soft ribbon, tied just for you.

Placed into a protective mailing bag and sealed with care.

Studio commissions start from £225, including one principal artwork for one animal and your first garment. Additional artwork styles, personal details and multi-animal compositions are quoted separately.

* Your commissioned artwork remains protected Field Cottage Designs' artwork & is retained in our Studio archive for future Field Cottage Designs orders. Field Cottage Design generated / production-ready artwork files are not supplied as part of the standard commission, but may be negotiated as a separate item at commissioning.

*£225 is the single-animal starting price, multiple animal prices are dependent on how much artistic work is involved for example where combining photographs in to a single image is required

Behind the Images

We’re committed to showing our products as honestly as possible.

Wherever practical, the garments you see on our website are photographs of real products we’ve designed, printed and hand-finished in our West Sussex studio.

During the design process, we use digital mock-ups to help you preview your artwork before production. This allows you to approve your portrait and, if you’d like, see how it will look on your chosen garment before we create it.

To help you visualise future collections, garment colours and ideas still in development, we occasionally use digitally created lifestyle imagery featuring our House Models. These images are always based on our own artwork and are intended to help you imagine how a finished piece may look.

Whenever you see product photography on our website, it represents the real garment you’ll receive—not a digital mock-up.

If you’re ever unsure whether an image is a photograph of a finished product or a concept visualisation, just ask—we’re always happy to tell you.
