MY FIRST HORSE
I was fourteen when I first met him.
A gangly, patient pony with kind eyes and a temperament that taught me more than any lesson ever could.
He's with me still, we now walk out rather than ride out & I take care of him, the way he took care of me.
He gave me confidence when I had none, and somewhere along the way,
he helped shape the person I am today.
Some friendships stay with you forever.

They teach us patience, loyalty and how to love without conditions.
