General
All our items are made to order, therefore refunds & exchanges are only available for faulty products and there is no right to cancel an order under the Distance Selling Regulations.
In the rare case that we are unable to use the image supplied ie your image will need to:
show the full subject you want on your garment considering paws/ feet / legs / tail - and not obscured by grass, shade or not visible because of the way the pet is positioned
be reasonably well lit ie not in shade
in focus
If, for any reason, we are unable to use the image provided and we cannot improve it, you will be offered a refund.
We endeavour to quality check each item that we send out but if your item arrives and is faulty in this case please email hello@fieldcottagedesigns.co.uk to access help.

Always wash dark colours separately before wearing to avoid bleeding issues
Maximum washing temperature 30 C, inside out, with like colours
Mild detergent - NO FABRIC SOFTENER
Delicate cycle or 30 at 30 C
Tumble dry at low temperature, max 60 C
Keep ironing to a minum - remove from machine promptly and allow to dry naturally on a hanger
Do NOT dry clean
Important note: Please read label instructions carefully for all garments.
To ensure longevity, wash garments inside out on a cold setting and do not tumble dry. Avoid using bleach and do not iron the transfer directly. The transfers will last for up to 50-60 washes if the care instructions are followed.
We are a British brand. We produce artist-led wearable art for devoted pet lovers in the form of bespoke pet portrait apparel, minimalist breed-inspired clothing, and emotionally meaningful wearable keepsakes with premium craftsmanship and timeless design.
We don't use stock templates or generic AI art, copied illustrations and every image is based on your photograph(s). Your image is unqiue to you and will not appear on anyone else's keepsake. However we do reserve the right to use your item in our own marketing unless agreed otherwise - t his may be the case for memorial items and if this is the case we just ask that you let us know in advance.
Each item, including our Ready To Wear collection, is custom-made for you, taking your image and turning in to an individual graphic that reflects the character and personality of your pet or other image. Additional items like background generation or removal, paw prints or hooves are also hand-drawn.
Every graphic is hand finished to ensure that it reflects the individual nature of your pet or memory by our artist-led designers and this can take a little time.
We use high quality fabric tshirts , sweats & hoodies in a wide range of colours & sizes, that will wash and wear well (please see our garment care instructions) and make you memory last. Once we have your artwork produced we are able to offer a reduced price for a replacement over time, should your keepsake need to be refreshed - please contact hello@fieldcottagedesigns.co.uk in this case.
We hope you will love your garment as much as we have loved producing them.
For the best results we recommend an image (portrait or landscape is fine) with the subject in full view ie feet, paws, tail and ears etc all comfortably within the picture ie not obscured by grass, shade or the pet's position - but this isn't always necessary - depending on the image you require. The photo does need to be in focus and reasonably well lit ie not over exposed in sunlight or in the dark.
It needs to be an image file so .jpg or .png.
The images below show you the process, from the original, 2D artwork with background and then 2D artwork with no / a transparent background, what an image looks like on a t-shirt and another image (a sketch outline).

Your design will be unique to you, no other item will be printed with your design on it (but please be aware that some dogs may have a similar appearance but your image will NEVER be used on another owners keepsake).
